JOB VACANCY – Architectural Technologist

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our expanding team

Our dynamic Architectural practice, specialising in planning and technical design across a range of sectors seeks an adept mid-level Architectural Technologist to join our expanding team.

Our vibrant studio is currently working on projects across the Residential, Education, Commercial, Leisure and Utilities sectors and, due to an increasing workload, we are looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist with the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team to become an important part of the company’s development.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level technologist looking to progress their career, working for a leading Kent architectural practice.

About us

OSG is a friendly and collaborative team – our goal is to achieve first class architectural design to our client’s brief, budget and program. We have a skilled team of over 20 staff who create original design solutions, high quality 3D visualisation and comprehensive detailed documentation and drawings.

OSG has grown from a strong technical drawing background in that our founding directors have had a very practical, building technology-based approach to projects and this has been driven by their close working relationships with local contracting firms.

This has resulted in us having great consideration for the buildability and economic efficiency of each client’s project that we work on. We have become well respected for this approach locally and are widely seen as the ‘go-to’ practice in Kent for technical delivery.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have 3 years’ post qualification experience in practice working on technical delivery of projects and with a broad knowledge of Building Regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or equivalent
  • 3 years’ post qualification experience in practice working on technical delivery
  • Full proficiency with AutoCAD and knowledge of Revit an advantage
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Team mentality
  • Attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of key Microsoft software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • InDesign and Photoshop advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence
