OSG are proud to be part of the team delivering this multi-storey mixed-use scheme designed by HGP Architects on this prime route connecting Hove to Brighton.

The scheme will provide much needed office space for local employer, the IMEX Group, allowing them to realise their growth ambitions and create new job opportunities in the local area, as well as providing desirable residential accommodation in the 52 flats above. The flats and office space will be ideally located with excellent access to transport links and accessibility to local facilities all within 1km from the beach.

Designed with a fabric first approach, the commercial building is expected to achieve a BREEAM Outstanding rating.

Challenges: Meeting the stringent, enhanced fire regulations for high rise buildings over 18m is critical to the success of this project. This, along with the  sloped elevation to the South-East and North-East sections of the building and the marine environment have provided plenty of technical challenges for the team.

The project started on site in January and once complete, will provide a modern building that complements the surrounding buildings and elevates the locality.
