In response to recent legislation amendments resulting from The Building Safety Act 2022, we are pleased to announce a significant expansion of our services to encompass the role of Building Regulations Principal Designer. This new offering positions OSG Architecture as a comprehensive provider, capable of supporting clients with all aspects of technical projects, irrespective of whether we have been involved in the initial design process.
Under the amended secondary legislation, a ‘competent person’ must undertake the responsibility of the Building Regulations Principal Designer role. The level of experience and competence required to perform this role make it best suited to an architect.
