The completed sports hall will enable a full sports curriculum for all three schools
OSG are delighted to be working with Valley Invicta Academies Trust once again to complete their programme for a 12-court sports hall on their Maidstone campus, which now includes 3 schools; Valley Park School, Invicta Grammar and School of Science and Technology.
Phase 1 of the programme, which was completed in 2020 provided 6 courts, but with 3 schools on the campus, all sharing the sporting facilities, 6 courts was not adequate. The extension of the existing hall will enable the provision of a full sports curriculum for all 3 schools and will be a seamless addition to the current building, using the same materials of light grey aluminium wall panelling to the upper level and roof and cream block work below.
The project is currently awaiting planning consent, but it is hoped that work will commence over the summer vacation and be completed for the start of the following academic year, September 2023.
