OSG were approached by Mr and Mrs Farrow who had recently purchased a timber framed ‘Colt ‘ house located in Rye. Whilst the client was very happy with the location of the site they felt that the building in its current form did not suit their needs.

The scheme that has now been arrived at, works with the site topography, being arranged over 3 floors but with a tiered design so that the dwelling steps up the site from east to west and the arrangement of spaces internally has been completely reconfigured to provide a large open plan central living space that looks out over  a terrace and on towards the historic centre of Rye.
