OSG were approached by a Mr and Mrs Henson who had recently purchased a small bungalow in Whitstable. Whilst  the clients were very happy with the location of the  site they felt that the building in its current form did not suit their needs in terms of aspect, space  flow, siting, general construction and aesthetic appearance.

One of the main clients requirements was to achieve high levels of energy efficiency through the use of modern materials, that would exceed current standards required by the Building  Regulations. The design includes the use of natural  lighting which reduces the cost of artificial lighting  with the development.
