This brief requires four affordable housing units with associated parking and external works, and one custom-built plot. Warehorne Parish Council realises that there is a demand for local needs housing within its parish and is working on the scheme with the English Rural Housing Association and Action with Communities in Rural Kent.
The scheme consists of two elements. The residential development of four affordable housing units for the local community which will be built by the English Rural Housing Association together with a custom-built plot. The scheme is currently awaiting planning approval and will subsidise the affordable housing.
The design provides good sized units which accord with local authority space standards. Our design reflects local rural architecture whilst introducing modern materials and colour palette.
