Luckley Field - Private Project
|Project:||The erection of twenty three houses and two flats.|
|Value:||£3 Million (estimate)|
Luckley Field is situated at the foot of the North Downs in the Wye area of outstanding beauty. The site has been allocated for twenty houses within the local plan. The site was previously designated as agricultural fills, which in turn created an odd cut out in the Village envelope scheme; the proposed design has been produced to fill that gap sympathetically. The design brings together traditional materials and details found in Wye, ranging from Weatherboarding and brick to jettied first floors sourced locally on the listed buildings. The orientation of the houses and the site has lead to a duel aspect design with both inward and outward looking properties. The strict space standards of Ashford Borough Council have also been complied with.
The development has received planning, meaning we are now moving onto the technical phases of the project within a construction commencement due in Spring 2015.
